DESCRIPTION:Mick Rogers – „The famous guitarist from Manfred Mann’s Earth Band“ \n The Rogerama Tour \n\nWith a career spanning 6 decades\, Mick Rogers embarked on a brand-new solo tour in Europe in April 2025\, where he celebrates the history of the rock guitar from the 1950’s to the present day.\n\nThe music celebration features Mick’s distinctive vocals and world class guitar playing that has placed him alongside some of the highest achievers in the rock genre. Not only can the audience absorb and admire the quality and Mick’s performances\, but they will also hear him share anecdotal stories that both entertain and provide for a further interesting dimension to Mick’s work.\n\nMick Rogers explains: \n“I wanted to put on a live\, strictly solo show\, playing music that has inspired me ever since I first picked up a guitar in the early 1950’s. \nI consider myself greatly fortunate of having experienced first-hand\, the music of some of the greatest rock and roll guitar players\, such as Eddie Cochran\, Hank Marvin\, Carl Lee Perkins\, Merle Travis\, John Lee Hooker and Jeff Beck\, and it is a great privilege for me to play some of their iconic music on stage. \nAnd\, of course\, I play some of my own special arrangements of Manfred Mann’s Earth Band tunes that the audience will be familiar with\, such as\, Blinded By The Light\, Visionary Mountains\, Captain Bobby Stout\, and Father of Day.\n\nThe show is quite unique because I utilize backing tracks that I recorded in my studio for some of the songs. Each night’s setlist can be quite different\, and that’s something I like to offer to the audience\, as it helps keep the shows fresh and dynamic.\n\nAdded to that\, I continue to write fresh music\, and I hope that you will enjoy that part of my show too.”
